Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Yesterday (4/8) was Daddy's birthday. It was also a birthday of sorts for the boys - 2 months old!! My, how quickly time passes, both for us big people and for the little people. Brock gave Daddy a great birthday surprise  During the day while Daddy was at work, Brock got very unhappy with how long Mommy was taking to heat his bottle. Mommy decided that such strong emotion would be something that Daddy wouldn't want to miss out on, so we called him. He was on a call with an agent, so we left him a very loud message. After he finished his call, he called back, and since the bottles were warm, mommy was too busy to answer the phone. Daddy left a message, and when Brock heard his voice come across the room, he got a very big smile on his face, and was actually too busy smiling to eat for about 5 minutes afterwards. When Daddy heard about it later, it made his day!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!! We love you and are so lucky to have such a great Daddy!!

For Aunt Kara - Thanks for the cute doggy outfits!! Mommy loves to put them on us now that we're big enough to fit in them. We are too cute!!

I'm sure Brock will have something to say to us in the future when he sees that we posted his picture with doggy ears on the web!!

We still love our bouncy seats, and Mommy loves them, too!!

Mommy and Daddy had some other couples over on Saturday evening. They took both babies out to dinner for the first time, and they did well. They would have done even better if Mommy hadn't forgotten their pacifiers!! Good job boys, even with your forgetful Momma!! Here's our friend Brian holding the babies. He was sooooo good with them!!


















Since Saturday evening went so well, we decided to try it again on Sunday. We met Grandma and Grandpa Martin at the Texas Roadhouse to celebrate Daddy's birthday. The boys were excellent and slept all through dinner. We were seated next to a family with 6 year old twin girls, who were enthralled with the boys. Here's our family, happy to be out and about at the Texas Roadhouse!!

A great smile from Brock actually caught on film. Unfortunately, the camera with the smile pictures of Kyle went to Colorado with Grandpa Martin. We'll post some of him when the camera gets back.

We're almost too long to lay cross ways in our crib!!

For Auntie Sheryl - We're sorry that you had to move away so soon after we were born. We would have loved the chance to get to know you better!! Hope all is well in Texas. Mommy misses you bunches!!
