The fastest drink in the Midwest!!
Some of you who've been reading the blog since the beginning, you may remember our post about feeding 12 day old boys. In case the point of that post was lost in my post-partum foggy babble, it took 1 1/2 hrs to feed the boys, and we started over every 3 hrs - doctors orders. Since both babies were small, we had to wake them, even if they weren't hungry, and they were hard to keep awake and on task. Now some of you might not think that is so bad, but that 3 hrs was from the start of one feeding to the start of the next, not 3 hrs after they finished the 1 1/2 hs feeding!! Well, we have good news on the feeding front. The boys have gotten to be progressively faster eaters, and we think that we may have a record holder on our hands!! Kyle, our hungry boy, can down a bottle in 5 minutes flat. I really didn't think too much about it until Aunt Kara came to visit, and not having seen the boys for several months, she saw the difference immediately. I knew they were faster, but didn't really pay attention to how fast. This led us to the idea to time his bottle drinking, and we were shocked. Brock isn't quite as fast as his brother Kyle, as he gets more easily distracted, but never fear. He has his own unique set of talents, of which I will post about later:). Here's Kyle's record setting bottle drinking skills in pictures, along with the times:

Go Kyle!! Our Kyler could do the same thing! 5 minutes or less! He inhaled! You are such a dolly! Thanks for letting me hold you the other Sunday. You are growing up so fast!
Now there is the mark of a true Leman! :-)
