One of our evening outings in Destin was to a place called "The track". I was not overly enthused about going here, but Aunt Kara was determined that the boys would love it, and boy was she right!! Not only was she right about the boys, but we all loved it and ended up having a great time!! We originally we planning to mini golf, but once they got started with the "race cars", there was no time for golf:).
Here we are, all set to go. Gentlemen (and ladies:) start your engines!!

Mom and Brock took an early lead......
....but ended up getting lapped by EVERYONE else on the course! What can I say - I guess my lead foot must be getting lighter:)! It was okay with Brock, though, because the race attendant pulled us in first, so he thought we won:).
Then we found the mini-"race cars" that the boys could drive on their own. EXCITED would be an understatement!! Here is Brock - all ready to go!

They loved driving their own car, and actually did really well.
I had to make the next 2 pics bigger so you could see the concentration on his face (love the tongue sticking out - he gets this from his dad:),
and the pure joy on this guy's face:).
Poor Kyle - on the first race, his car was a dud, and I think that Brock lapped him twice. It wasn't funny for him, but it was hilarious for us to watch!

Ali was great the whole evening, just watching the action and enjoying the beautiful weather.
The boys did take time out from racing to ride a few rides.
"Hey guys!! When am I going to get a turn to ride??"

Race cars and airplanes - what more could a boy ask for??
Not sure why he chose to pilot his plane from the back seat:). We got a kick out of this.
After a little break, it was back to the race track.
This time Brock rode with Daddy,
And Aunt Kara took a turn with Kyle.
The last event of the evening was the bumper boats. Even Papa got in on this one!
There was a good reason that this was the last event - they were all SOAKED, but they had a great time and didn't seem to mind one bit!!

Oops, I forgot! There was one last spin on the ferris wheel for the boys while Daddy, Papa and Aunt Kara wrung out their clothes;).
It was a great evening, and the boys still talk about the race car place and how they are planning on going back soon:).
